Biography

Ali Nakhli is a postdoctoral research associate at the Models for Environmental Health and Policy (MEHR) Lab. Ali obtained his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Delaware and his M.Sc. and B.Sc. in chemical engineering from the Sharif University of Technology in Iran. The core of his interests and expertise is “water”. He is passionate about working toward sustainable water recourse management and treatment. At the MEHR lab, Ali is modeling the uncontrolled releases and transport of hazardous substances in extreme hydrologic events such as hurricanes and floods and their effect on water quality and human health.
