Models for Environmental Health and Policy

WELCOME 

The Models for Environmental Health and Policy lab develops models of interacting environmental, technical, and social systems to support decision-making in land-use and natural resource management, energy systems, and climate resilience. We develop quantitative tools and policy analyses that help decisions reflect social preferences and robustly account for uncertainty. We collaborate extensively with researchers and practitioners across the natural, social, engineering, and health sciences.

We are committed to translating research into policy impact, engaging directly with the policy process through regulatory comments, legislative testimony, and partnerships with government agencies, Indigenous organizations, and civil society.
