PHA at VT

The Graduate Public Health Association at Virginia Tech was formed in accordance with the University motto, “Ut Prosim,” focusing on service in public health for the VT community, New River Valley, and beyond. Through participation, members gain vital public health experience while in school, network with health and service organizations in the area, and bring lasting change to lives. Graduate students in the MPH program, DVM, and other health-related degrees are invited to join, along with faculty and staff. 

What we do for:

Students

  • Further the professional competencies of students at Virginia Tech through service and educational activities related to public health

Campus

  • Foster a sense of community among students, faculty, and alumni
  • Promote public health education and awareness to the VT student body, faculty and staff

Community

  • Strenthen community partnerships with student engagement.
