During the first full week of April each year, the American Public Health Association (APHA) brings together communities across the United States to observe National Public Health Week (NPHW). Each year, APHA assigns daily themes to NPHW that seek to tackle the underlying causes of poor health and disease risk and bring awareness to ensure that everyone has the chance to live a long and healthy life.

The Public Health Program's MPH Student Ambassadors and Public Health Association coordinate events for NPHW across Virginia Tech's campus and in the surrounding community for students, faculty/staff, and community members.

Please email any questions to phs@vt.edu.

Stay tuned for NPHW 2020 events! -
