Past events:

MPH Alumni Weekend: Friday, April 12 - Saturday, 13

  • The second annual MPH Alumni Weekend featured a professional development workshop on Friday facilitated by the VT Center for Communicating Science - The Art of Connecting Across Difference: A Participatory Workshop to Develop Communication Skills - and a post-workshop mixer with alumni, students, and faculty/staff. Saturday's events included a group walk/jog/run for the VT 3.2 Remembrance Run and a post-remembrance run brunch for all at the college.

MPH Alumni Weekend: Friday, April 13 - Saturday, April 14

  • The MPH program hosted its first annual MPH Alumni Weekend in Spring 2018. The weekend kicked off with an alumni discussion where alumni provided feedback and suggestions to help the program continue to improve. This discussion was especially helpful as alumni offered a valuable view of both the program and how their training has been applied to their careers. The information provided has already proven useful as the program makes changes to meet the new CEPH requirements. The discussion was followed by a mixer with alumni and current MPH students and faculty/staff. The weekend continued with a day of fun in the sun during a tailgate before the annual VT Football Spring Game.
